Bee-Dwo Lin
Bee-Dwo Lin is a London-based artist now bringing live portrait drawing to weddings, private parties, and corporate events. Working in watercolour and mixed media, she draws guests live on the day — creating intimate, personal keepsakes that go beyond typical event entertainment.
Her confidence with people as subjects comes from years of real practice. From busy art markets to portrait commissions and life drawing sessions, she has spent over a decade learning to capture a likeness quickly, warmly, and in front of the person she's drawing. That live, in-the-moment skill is the foundation she brings to events.
Bee's artistic training runs deep. Formally educated in fine art from secondary school through to postgraduate level — from specialist art schools in Taiwan through to an MA in Fine Art Printmaking in the UK — she brings rigorous technical grounding to everything she makes. Her work spans watercolour, colour pencil, printmaking, and painting, giving her the flexibility to adapt to any subject or occasion.
Originally from Taiwan, Bee-Dwo began her career as a portrait artist in Australia in 2012 before relocating to the UK in 2015. She has exhibited work in both Australia and Taiwan, and has spent years building a portrait practice rooted in genuine connection — the belief that a drawing made in someone's presence captures something a photograph never quite can.
She is now taking that practice into events, and would love to be part of yours.
